Richard D. Lom, Esq. CCIM
Richard David Lom is one of those rare entertainment attorneys who actually has an entertainment background. Shortly after graduating from the University of the Pacific with a B.A. in Public Relations and Promotion, Richard was hired by the William & Morris Agency in Beverly Hills and began in the agency’s famous mailroom. As an Agent Trainee, he paid his dues slinging mail for the industry’s super agents. After a short stint working with literary agent Gary Loder and his cast of TV Writers and Showrunners, Richard left for Writers and Artists Agency. While assisting agent, Michael Stipanich, Richard also worked as the legal assistant to the agency’s in-house counsel, Norman Aladjem, Esq. By the mid 90’s, Richard found himself on the other side of the camera as a TV new reporter, working in several markets for both ABC and NBC. Richard wound up his 16-year career in 2008, as an award-winning broadcast journalist, right here in Lexington, at LEX-18 News NBC.
